Boilermaker Special
Sunday, August 4th - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Take a ride on the “Boiler Maker Special,” the official mascot of Purdue University. Purdue is the only University to have a train as its mascot. When a railroad runs a train in addition to the regular schedule, it’s called a “special.” We have arranged a “Boilermaker Special” just for CUHMMC conference attendees to tour the campus! Meet at the bus pull-off on the west side of the Stewart Center (sign-up required).
Union Rack and Roll
Sunday, August 4th -
Newcomers reception: 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM
All attendees reception: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Come hang out and meet old and new friends at the Union Rack and Roll inside the Purdue Memorial Union! As one of Purdue's hidden gems on Purdue University's West Lafayette campus, The Union Rack and Roll offers bowling and billiards. We'll also have fun with HyperBowling - A whole new way to roll. It’s fast-paced, high-scoring, epic-comeback-staging fun, where bowling lanes meet video games. Newcomers welcome reception to start at 4:30 PM.
Fair Oaks Farms Banquet
Monday, August 5th; Buses leave from the west side of the Stewart Center at 4:00 PM and will depart Fair Oaks Farm at 7:45 PM with drop off to the Stewart Center
Our Monday night event will be a visit to the beautiful Fair Oaks Farm, the number one agritourism site in the Midwest. Fair Oaks Farm provides an escape to the country where you can reconnect with nature. You will have time to explore the idyllic grounds and enjoy the sweeping views as well as the highly engaging Dairy, Pig, and Crop exhibits. We will then dine on Fair Oak’s delicious “farm to table” cuisine, including cheese and ice cream right from the Fair Oak’s dairy.
